Fewer than half of mid-sized firms have a mitigation plan in place for many kinds of macro enterprise danger, in line with the 2022 QBE Mid-Sized Firm Danger Report. The survey discovered the dangers these firms have been least ready for have been associated to local weather change (33% have a mitigation plan), macroeconomic danger (37%) and reputational danger (39%). Unsurprisingly, these dangers – together with that of pure disasters and extreme climate – ranked lowest on the listing of dangers with which mid-sized companies are involved.
The macro enterprise dangers that involved these firms probably the most have been monetary danger (60%), digital danger (51%), enterprise interruption danger (51%) and organizational danger (44%). These have been the identical dangers for which companies have been most probably to have a mitigation plan in place.
